I spent hours researching all the different companies that sell silk sheets on Amazon, it’s so difficult given the wildly varying pricing, silk quality and weight, opposing reviews (or lack of them all together!) I’m autistic and on palliative care, and as a result I’m very sensitive to fabrics, in a great deal of pain, and run very hot so I need something breathable and soft. I wanted to splurge a bit as I’m spending an increasing amount of my time in bed.I eventually settled (which believe me is not settling at all) on Clover Silk because I wanted 22 momme density for better longevity. The pricing was lower than most others, especially if you want to build your own set so that you can choose unique colors (individual pieces are priced well!). I purchased the dark gray fitted sheet and two dark grey queen pillow cases, and went with the light gray for the second set of pillowcases and the duvet cover. I opted not to get a sheet with the set because I can only imagine how slippery everything would be and that the sheet would most likely end up off the bed!It seemed from the pictures online that there was a greater contrast between the two colors, but the light gray is not as light as the pictures (it’s only a couple shades off from the dark gray). It’s still so beautiful and it adds just a subtle contrast. I’ll report back after I wash the set, but I immediately tried them on the bed and jumped in to do a few Snow angels under the covers, they are so soft and gorgeous! They seem like they will hold up well, they have a nice weight to them. The bottom sheet has elastic all the way around, which I really appreciate, and there are no seams anywhere your body touches (even around the perimeter of the fitted sheet like I have seen on others). The duvet has ties to hold your comforter in place, is silk on both sides, and the duvet and pillowcases all have hidden zippers which zip up nicely and are color matched.It was a nice bonus that everything showed up in reusable packaging that is breathable but will protect the silk from snagging on wood shelves. I told my boyfriend that everyone has to keep their nails clipped and filed including our cats! I’m terrified that by the end of the week someone is going to leave a mark or snag, so I have my old Ralph Lauren duvet cover laying over the top until I see how they all react. Now to go re-create that famous scene from Dumb and Dumber where they get their nails done…hunting for the angle grinder right now.Nothing like what I expected.Much smaller than what the picture looks like.Quality is decent.I bought the silk duvet cover to reduce the compression of traditional duvet covers. This silk duvet cover does just that. To me it is well worth the money and I recommend it for high loft down comforters.After 3 washes using special silk soap the fabric doesn’t feel as silky. Color is still pink and has not faded but silk doesn’t feel quality. I have a SLIP pillow case and the soft silkyness has never dulled over time, wouldn’t suggest the sheets is high quality but it does feel softer than a polyester faux silk. (Speaking because I own a polyester blend from a different Amazon purchase. I originally bought sheets for skin benefits, but the benefits wore off after a few washes. My hair used to have little to no frizz, but the longer I have silk sheets in bed my hair gets tangled and frizzy from friction. Really sad experience considering how expensive these sheets are. I bought the duvet and fitted sheet.I ordered the twin size of this duvet cover in the hope that it would fit my weighted blanket, which it does perfectly! It even has eight ties on the inside which correspond to the loops on the blanket so it is tied in securely. I am very happy with this purchase, since all other covers for weighted blankets are made of synthetic fiber that causes me to sweat or else thin, cheap cotton. Silk is cool and soft and I can fall right asleep!Ordered white and package said "white"...but it was ivory. Im an artist and know colors. Very disappointing and waste of time.
